To go to Saint-Malo by car from Paris, here are two options (about 4 hours of travel):
Follow the A11 (Océane) then the A81 and the N157 to Rennes, then the D137 (secondary road)
Follow the A 13 (Normandy highway) to Caen, then the A84 (free) to Avranches, and finally the N 175/N 176.
Train from Paris-Montparnasse to the Saint-Malo train station in just 2 hours and 15 min!
There are 3 trains per day.
Other destinations and connections are available at the Rennes train station If you are travelling from Rennes, it only takes 45 minutes by the TER to reach the walled city.
The train is a good solution to spend a weekend in Saint-Malo!
Rennes International Airport is 80km from our hotel and less than 1hour 30min from big cities like Marseille, Nice, Toulouse, Paris & Lyon. You can quickly fly to Saint-Malo from many European countries. This makes the walled city easy to access!
